Why you should get to know your Hormones!

Did you know that our hormones have profound influences on our mental, physical, and emotional health?  If you have the following symptoms, then there is a good chance that you will do well with a Hormonal Reset Program.

  1. Weight gain
  2. Fatigue or daytime sleepiness
  3. Insomnia
  4. Difficulty losing weight, despite nutrition and exercise
  5. High blood pressure
  6. High cholesterol
  7. infertility
  8. Carbohydrate cravings

When our hormones are out of control, we feel tired all the time because our body is converting food into fat instead of fuel. We tend to lose muscle tone and fat begins to build up. We also not only gain weight, but we can end up with health problems like high blood pressure and other chronic illnesses like diabetes.

Hormonal imbalances are a worldwide epidemic

For example, the average American female and male after their mid-30s suffer from some kind of hormonal imbalance. In fact, 80% of females Statistics show that 80 percent of women suffer from hormonal imbalance. Some women live with these imbalances without even realising it; in fact, 70 percent are unaware of conditions like PCOS that may have manifested due to hormonal irregularities.

These imbalances can increase as we age and become more devastating and harder to deal with.

The good news, however, is that hormone imbalances are reversible with the right strategy, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Your hormones can be thought of as special chemical messengers that are created by your endocrine glands.

When your hormones are healthy, you feel vibrant, positive, empowered, and have a great desire to move your body.

When your hormones are out of balance, you can feel moody, lack energy, feel bloated, put on weight very easily, suffer from skin issues, anxiety — the list can really go on.

By balancing the health of your hormones, you can improve your overall health.

Some of the factors that lead to hormonal issues include toxins, unhealthy diets, and unbalanced lifestyles.

Your hormonal balance is greatly influenced by the foods you eat, the exercise you do, the toxins you absorb, the weight you carry, your emotions, and the levels of stress that you experience.

When you support your body with healthy foods and lifestyle choices, you give your hormonal system the opportunity to function properly and so this allows yourself the very best chance to experience radiant health

Working with a Health Coach…

As a Health Coach I work with clients on a 1:1 basis by helping them achieve optimum results as I guide them through their transformational health journey. I believe in longevity and that however we nourish and care for ourselves on the inside reflects on the outside. Nutrition is a huge part of integrative health and feeling healthy, but our emotional wellbeing is equally important and we cant address one area of health without the other. I truly believe in a holistic approach, which is why the programs I offer look at all areas of holistic health. If you feel like you would like to find out more and that perhaps you could benefit from working with a health coach, then I would love to hear from you. You can send me an email at nicole@mindfulliving.com.
