This is quite possibly the easiest Vegan Banana & Chocolate cake you’ll ever make, and it tastes delicious.
I’m not a huge baker as I much prefer cooking savoury dishes, but this is super easy and so tasty it will relieve any chocolate cravings you have.
I have made this quite a few times, so I used to follow a recipe and now it’s basically a lot of guess work. But here is a list of all the things you’ll need.
- x 4 Bananas
- 2 Cup Flour (I used Spelt but you can use whichever you prefer)
- 1/4 Cup Raw Cacao
- 1/4 Cup Raw Cacao Nibs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 CupCoconut Sugar
- 1tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup of Filtered Water
- Pinch Pink Salt
Preheat the oven to 180°. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl together like so…Use a fork to mash the Bananas.
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you end up with a consistency that looks like this. You want to create a thick chocolatey paste, making sure all the banana is broken down well.
Line a baking tin with some parchment paper and spread mixture out evenly. You then want to bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 45/50 mins.
Voila! Take out the oven and allow to cool down before cutting into squares. There you have the easiest and quickest Chocolate & Banana Cake Squares! Yum!
