The Women in Business Edit
The rippling effect of Covid-19 has impacted all of us and for some start up business owners, that impact has been crushing. Not only financially, but also mentally. Having a small business myself, and my partner having one too, I have seen first hand how it can feel like years of energy and hard graft is crumbling in front of you.
With that in mind, I wanted to reach out to small businesses, to show solidarity and support through these hard times. So over the next few weeks I will sharing with you a series of interviews with Founders, Makers, and Employees from small businesses who have a sustainable and ethical ethos.
First up I am kicking off the series with a personal favourite, Lavender on the Hill – Wellbeing Sanctuary in Highgate. Lavender on Hill is a luxury Wellbeing sanctuary which offers holistic treatments at affordable prices. Before lockdown commenced I was a regular client, and I absolutely love their treatments. The calming and tranquil decor makes you feel like you’re in a hotel spa and the Signature Massage that they offer with Reiki, is my absolute favourite. They all use all natural products which contain no SLS or parabens, which for me is a winner.

Last week I had the pleasure of taking to Founder of Lavender on the Hill Bee Kwan, I wanted to find out all about the inspiration behind her business, the therapists she works with and how Covid-19 has effected her.
Four months before lockdown Bee, opened her second premises in Primrose Hill, which I haven’t visited yet but looks beaut. You can find out here about the treatments they offer.

Due to Covid-19, unfortunately Bee doesn’t know when she will be able to open her doors again, but we are all hoping it’s sometime soon. If you’re looking for little escape, with a slice of luxury, then this is the place to be. Get a massage, facial, relax with a vitamin tea and take a few hours for you.
