The Challenges: A Life of Anxiety and Unhealthy Choices

A busy Mum of two kids, wife, dog owner, and businesswoman, Lisa had lost touch with herself, struggling with high anxiety levels, depression, and unhealthy habits for over 15 years. Relying on alcohol as an escape, her self-esteem and self-confidence were at an all-time low when she came to me. She felt isolated, overwhelmed, and found it challenging to get out of bed sometimes.

The 12-Week Programme: A Holistic Approach, Empowering Lisa to Regain Control

After our first heart-rending session, I decided to help Lisa holistically; we needed to look at all aspects of her life — relationships, movement, joy, work/life balance, and what she was fueling herself with, nutrition. As we delved deeper and I understood more about her health history and past, the Mindful Living Health Coaching program introduced Lisa to mindfulness techniques, improved eating habits, and practices to create a more positive outlook. It would never be an overnight fix, but I knew she had it in her to commit and dedicate herself to this. It was my mission to bring her back into alignment.

I focused on assisting Lisa in understanding nutrition, the brain-gut connection, and the impact of food on her emotional and physical health. By incorporating recorded meditations, a water intake plan, and simple at-home exercises while removing all refined sugar, processed foods, and alcohol, Lisa was already on her way to a healthier lifestyle. Moreover, we conducted a comprehensive supplement analysis and designed a bespoke detox plan to help her thrive that consisted of organic and wholesome foods.

I wanted to take some time to tell you how thankful and excellent my 3-month programme with you was.

Honestly, Nicole, it takes ALOT for someone to blow my mind and for me to be shocked, and you literally did both! I was on antidepressants for 17 years (which you know) until a month ago. It is an understatement to say I was riddled with fear and anxiety coming off them. I still do get the fearful days, but it’s mind over matter now for me, and I get through those days with the help of meditation or a 10-minute burst of exercise (something I hated too). So I started wanting to sign up with you to lose weight and gain some knowledge on healthy eating & my gut, but …OMG, I was not ready for this amazing new world I feel I am now in!

The knowledge you have passed on to me is mind-blowing yet quite simple to understand, which helped a lot (maybe because you dummy-proofed it first ), but seriously, I feel like a new person, not so depressed, have more energy, not half as lethargic as before and simply just so happy.
